HIDDEN IN THE GRASS

Another hot day. So I suggested to Piet Hein to go to the open air swimmingpool in Bodenfelde.
When I compare this one with the swimmingpool in Beverungen I much prefer the pool in Bodenfelde. It has a different atmosphere, very rural and old fashioned, with wonderful clear water, a big 50 m pool and large meadows around it, where one can ly in the shadow of some trees.
The one in Beverungen is more up to date, more sofisticated, but somehow I prefer the one that reminds me of my youth.
When I trained a lot for competition, Swimming one track after the other.
It was full of young people, having fun and jumping with much enthusiasm from the springboard.
After swimming we went to Lippoldsberg not far from there, walked along the Weser, visited the ancient church (again) abd returned with good feelings.

My haiku:

So soft the grass on
My bare feet, following
The big eyed mosquito

And the proverb:

Pigs fly in the air with their  taills forward.

1616  Withals  583.
