Blooming miserable all day. Dull, cool and very, very wet. . . . Typical bank holiday!

Mr C and I had a lovely afternoon at our dear friends J & S. A lovely and chilled lunch with a glass or two of wine.

Yesterday, Mr Cs uncle gave us a tray of plums from their orchard. They have been plum picking the last couple of weeks (and are still harvesting) and take their pickings upto Covent Garden to sell. We may make jam with some of them ;-)

Last day of the holidays for me tomorrow:-((
