Drop the damp donkey?

No, the Donkey Derby is struggling on in spite of traditional Bank Holiday weather. I'm not a fan of these events, old kill-joy that I am. I think it introduces betting to children and young people. There must be better ways for Lions Clubs etc to raise money for charity. Plus the donkey in the front has old saddle sores.
Museum quite busy today, but the wooden steps up to the cannon viewing platform have given way and had to be taped off.
