Three 'Firsts' for us!

Rotten weather today ........ typical for a Bank Holiday weekend though! It rained on & off .... it was also decidedly chilly!


So we decided to have a trip to Frampton Marsh RSPB ..... even in horrid weather there is still usually something to watch & photograph! So pleased we did ...... we saw 3 different birds that neither of us had seen before! Just a shame the sun wasn't shining!

Left: A Snipe
Centre: A juvenile Dunlin
Right: A Spotted Redshank

There had also been a Red-necked Phalarope spotted there ..... but unfortunately we didn't see it ourselves ...... nevertheless we had a great afternoon despite the weather! :-)
