Caithness

Travelled many, many miles today up and around Caithness. Caithness always feels to me like a really unique part of Scotland, with windswept trees, giant rows of stone teeth marking field boundaries, and a surprisingly regular grid pattern to so many redundant old crofts. Of course I didn't take any photos.

This is a fella from my own childhood. Apparently the Bug is still a bit too small, but he's loving the tree swing.
