Sunday 30th August - Candles on the Cobb

Last evening the good people at L:yme Regis held their annual charity event "Candles on the Cobb" festival. where all the sea walls at the Cobb were lined with lit candles and the old fisherman's buildings were illuminated with lights, at the end of the evening there was a great firework display. The weather held off until near the end but trying to get photographs hand held from 500m away in the dark with a zoom lens and standing in a large crowd was difficult. ! A great event though and well worth all the effort.
