arrived on holiday

We arrived at our Turkish villa and was welcomed by the setting sun, what perfect timing. After taking in the view Dan and Lotty opened their cases, which were still on the veranda, got out their cozzies and were straight in the pool. Rather more reserved Lesley and I didn't even open our case we just poured the chilled wine from the fridge. I think we are going to enjoy this week.

In extras was our stop off for for an unbelievably good meal of mezzes and sea bass, all chosen from the kitchen and cooked at a leisurely pace (we nearly missed the sunset !). Also in extras is the beach at Orhaniye along from the restaurant. It is popular with Turks who like to show they can walk on water. In fact there is a sand spit just under the surface of the water known as Kiz Kumu or Girl Sand, for which there is of course a legend.
