Ring necked parakeets

A group of these parakeets have been in the area for a few weeks now. They're so well camouflaged that they have often been heard but not seen until this afternoon when I finally saw where exactly a pair of them land in a tree. This photo that I managed to take is not so good but it may well be the only one that I can ever get of them. (The second bird is sitting somewhat lower and to the left of the more visible one.)

My foot is feeling considerably better after a day of rest at home.
