Snail on Sunday

Hurrah! Finally all the animals blipped. This is Carys' giant African land snail named 'Rainbow'. Why an eight year old girl would want a big snail as a pet I'm not quite sure, but it's actually quite cool she does.

As pets go she's fairly easy going, pretty chilled really. He looks quite big here, but apparently she can grow to be much bigger, apparently up to 10 inches, so he has a fair way to grow yet before she breaks any records.

So that's that. All the family in the journal. Apart from the bathroom spider, Cyril, who I've mentioned before, but he's not really a pet. More of a squatter. 

Right - it's Sunday night and I have Rum and Black Sails waiting. (It's a boat thing.)
