This will only take a minute....

Gavin is training for another marathon but is behind schedule from when he had bronchitis in July, as he was unable to run for 4 weeks. This morning he went for a long run but I did get a phone call to go fetch him as he was too sore to carry on...he had done 21 km by the time he phoned me. It's madness, I told him that after having done so many marathons he should pack it in now but he wants to do just one more...and one more...

He wasn't too bad as he then washed the cars before we went out to lunch. One family from Thomas' year group at school kindly hosted a lunch for a few families and so that the boys could get together before school starts on Thursday. It was a lovely get together with the most delicious food and we even managed to eat al fresco despite the dark clouds overhead. Luckily it did not rain.

I thought I would take some photos of the boys at the lunch but that did not work out, so as I came home with no photos Gavin agreed to help out one more time.

Sorry for yet another portrait! Tomorrow we are going to Cambridge for the day as Gavin has not see the college Adam is going to and wants to see it and the town, as it is years since he has been there. Hopefully I should get some good photos from Cambridge...except that heavy rain is expected all day!
