Ambush

We had planned to go out for the day but Normous and George were too weary from their trip yesterday. Keeping ourselves amused after lunch today, George and I devised a putting game on the lawn, with pieces of paper held with skewers to mark the "holes". The grass is in need of a cut, so accuracy was a challenge, and sometimes a shot that was well on the way to being a "hole in one" was ambushed by Coco who always likes to join in the fun when we are outside. George beat me, but he says he isn't going to take up golf on the strength of his victory.

Those of you were intrigued by Friday's construction project can see the finished composter on my extra photos. We haven't filled it, so we have yet to see if it works!
