One Week On

An Update for personal reference.

Seven days since my five hour op' which has left me looking like this and I can say it is getting better but damn, not fast enough. I'm particularly pissed because a large amount of the discomfort inside my mouth could have been avoided. During surgery a plastic covering on the end of one the staple like wires that make up my braces was knocked off. For four days it was cutting slices out of my cheek but due to no feeling in my face I only noticed on thursday (and got it sorted in hospital on Friday) but the damage was done. Now some feeling is returning, it feels even worse. The four philips screws that I hook the elastic bands over are also making their presence felt.

Taken on the couch again, five days in a row.

The good news is that my Giga T Pro II remote arrived today :-)
