Steampunk Festival

This weekend is the annual Lincoln Steampunk Festival, the biggest of its kind in Europe. It's held in the uphill part of Lincoln, so I ventured up there today to take a few photos. Lots of people were happy to pose for photos, including this one.

One thing I like about Steampunk is that it encompasses all age groups, and another thing I really love is the beautiful clothes! I keep saying I am going to get some Steampunk clothes. I really should! 

It is Bank Holiday tomorrow but nothing will change for me. I still have to go over to my parents' and I still have to go to work. Next week I am going to find out what is happening though. I was told initially that the working 6 nights a week thing would be for a "couple of weeks". Next week will be week six, and it is really starting to affect my life in a detrimental way.

 When I ask how much longer I get told vague things like "very soon" or "just another couple of weeks". I'm starting to think my colleague and I are being strung along. This week I'm determined to at least find out a truthful timescale.
