How I spent my day

A wind storm came through the Lower Mainland, ripping down trees blocking roads, and power lines which knocked out traffic lights.
It was total mayhem.
I got from home to West Vancouver without a problem, but as soon as I started the journey back home, BAM! I was in the middle of it. The first 9 kms  took just over 90 minutes, the last 20kms or so took another 110 minutes. I was knackered when I finally made it.
Thankfully, although the boss told me there'd been power outages off and on all day, we didn't have any more.
Now, all we have to look forward to is about 2" of rain tonight.

Ah well. Until tomorrow....
