Ibis Attacked By Bivalve

This juvenile White Ibis, perched on a tree in Pleasure House Point, has a large, dark object clamped onto his foot. It looks like a clam or oyster. I posted a note and and this photo on the Pleasure House Point Facebook page, and the information was passed along to people who might help, but later in the evening the Ibis was spotted again... flying, with the object still attached. :(
