.........is the day of the week falling between Thursday and Saturday.

It's been a tough but enjoyable week at work. Mrs Scobes has just about turned the corner with her uni workload too.

Scouts was good tonight. We'd invited one of the Mum's along to talk about the US elections. She's a US Citizen who's lived in Scotland for 11 years, but still goes home every year and is a keen observer of US politics. She gave an interesting and engaging presentation to the kids about the importance of the election to the US and the world, and the kids spontaneously clapped her at the end. I followed up with a light hearted quiz before we played some games from the BSA website, and rounded off the evening with some Hershey's chocolate bought from a newsagent in Trinity.

I think I deserved my bottle of beer. Quiet satisfaction and contentment.
