Preparation

Next Friday I am going to be photographing a wedding where the ceremony is taking part on an island in the middle of the Forth River which has an abbey ruin dating back to 12th Century. As I'd never been to the island before I had a trip out there to scout the locations we'll use for photos. This initial view as you leave the boat and head toward the abbey is definitely one I'll be using thanks to the wonderful leading line sweeping up toward the abbey.
