Hoy!

A long drive from Edinburgh to Scrabster, stopping off briefly at the Grey Cairns o Camster, one of my favourite sites in Caithness.
Then it was the short trip to Stromness, passing Hoy and the Old Man.

I still remember Faither being excited about the live TV coverage of the climb of the sea stack by Chris Bonnington et al in 1966. Bonnington recently repeated the feat at the grand age of eighty :)
Great to finally set foot on Orkney for the first time.
