These cows . .

. . . have just arrived in one of the fields in the village. They are Belted Galloway and have quite shaggy coats.

There are calves, but they are hidden by the long grass. I will return when they have munched their way through some of the grass. Even though I don't usually eat grass, it does look rather delicious.
