Boys Will Be Boys

Before Dad came to pick this young man up, not only was he traipsing through the puddle...he was lying face down in it...and flailing like a fish out of water. Just down the street, there were several public fountains that the kids could play in, but he liked this one.

This is one of the three lighthouses in the Duluth, Minnesota harbor, that guide the freighters in from Lake Superior.

As you can see, there were a lot of people out strolling today. One of the unusual features of this area is an aerial lift bridge that rises, to let the boats and ships into the harbor. I walked across the bridge, and had the other two lights all to myself.

The internet in the great North Woods is incredibly slow, so I haven't been able to download anything to Flickr.
