Epic journey

Well what a day that was.

We left the house at 9.30am this morning to drive from Newbury to Poulton near Blackpool, after 6 stops for a range of reasons, mainly feeding of one sort or another, and a mammoth traffic jam forcing us onto A roads, we finally arrived at 6.30pm.

9 hours of driving and stopping, a 4 month old and a 4 year old - a heady combination. The little ones did amazingly somehow. Luckily we had some good stops and at one of them found this soft play area which C loved, just the job for letting off steam.

Had a lovely evening with Grandma and Grandad and Grandad loves his special birthday presents.
