At th tail end...

Mainly dry after rain during the night. Went away and baled the last rows of silage in yesterday's field, then carted them home for wee brother to wrap. He wasn't too chuffed as a bale  came out the baler, rolled down the field and landed in the fence. No major damage, but he had to take time to fix it.
Once it was stock proof again,we moved the grazing heifers into that field as it was better grass, then moved the spring calvers and their calves into the field the heifers came out of. Not too much of a rodeo, managed with just a quad and the land rover.
Went down to Bonnyrigg to check if they were cutting wheat,as we get the straw. No sign of action, so went and fed the cattle while out and about. Came home via the graveyard and stuck some flowers on the parents grave, then back home via the park to collect Little Miss.
Tea,then more cattle passport paperwork. It never ends !
