View from the Bothy

Tomorrow's assignment is to take photos of horses arriving on top of Queensberry, as part of this weekend's Environmental Arts Festival. The horses are taking part in a project called Quest, bringing legendary healing spring water from Hart Fell, near Moffat, to the festival at Morton Castle. Quest "explores the timelessness of travelling over landscape, a journey which connect five communities and celebrates local riding traditions."

So that I can be up on Queensberry tomorrow morning, D and I have walked in from Mitchellslacks Farm to an isolated bothy called Burleywhag, where we will spend the night. This is the view from our "bedroom" window.
