Overgrown

I'm not sure why I chose to head out on a dull afternoon with just a fisheye lens. I suppose it seemed like a challenge. I already had a blip. Marian had called me out to the garden where she'd seen a very young Slow worm. I should have put a reference point to show the size but maybe you can get an impression from the grass blades. It's in as an extra.

I stopped on Old Walls Hill where I've used this cattle feeder as a foreground for a view over The Ness. This time I used it as the subject itself. It's become very overgrown and is blending well into the scenery. The lens has exaggerated the perspective and conversion to mono seemed appropriate.
