Temples

Today we visited many temples in Chiang Mai.

Before visiting the temples we got to a bike shop. Each of us rented a bike for today and tomorrow. With the bikes it's faster to get from one point to another in Chiang Mai. But in Thailand it's left-hand traffic! It was very hard to ride on the wrong side of the street for us.
With the bikes we got from one temple to another very easy. They all were very impressive. We saw many Buddhas made of gold and very colorful. In the Wat Chiang Man we saw a small Buddha made of emerald. In the temple they said this figure is about 1800 years old!
On the way back home it started to rain. It was raining cats and dogs. But after 15 minutes it was over.
Tomorrow we want to visit a temple in the forest and the 'Sunday Walking Street'. The second one is a market in the old city.
