sunbathing

I rarely see a butterfly on our morning walk, and when I do, they are usually flittering around feeding and very hard to photograph.
This was a special sighting - a butterfly just resting in the sun. I took many snaps as I got closer and closer, and as soon as I let my shadow cross over, it took off for another sunny spot.
I also posted a "beach bunny" in the extras. It too was sunbathing and let me get very close.
Tomorrow we leave for the airport at 4 am, so no morning walk! I'll have to find my blip elsewhere.
