Ostrich Fillet Steak with Tanzanian Sauce
I was sent some samples from Edinburgh based MaRoberts Tanzanian sauces and remembering I had some ostrich steaks in the freezer thought I'd take us to Africa for supper.
After marinating the steaks in the very hot Pili Pili sauce I baked them in the oven - really tasty & very dense, lean & meaty - a good and cheaper alternative to beef - one to try again.
