It was saturday!!

A flashback to our stay at St Pancras Hotel as Sheil explained, where we had to do the washing up to pay for the bill and that was just the Wifi!

Well the bonus was that we got dining table next to the guest singer -
Nicola Sipprell - destiny maybe?  And an artist is never far from his brushes so after the meal the sketchbook came out.  I did a quick pencil sketch but then she disappeared.  The ever present garcon   spotted this moment and he just said that my muse had gone.  And without stopping he went after her and brought her back to see the sketch ......she was most surprised and said that she would be back!  And she did.  I was delighted that she wanted a copy .....and the ever present garcon appeared with a pen and paper for her email address.....and the bill!

So the stay at St Pancras was really a great joy for Sheil's love of all to do with trains and the architecture of station buildings, a chance for me to sketch (and to have her email!)  and the bonus of falling out of bed into St Pancras station in the morning!. One of life's luxuries and so much better than the usual rabbit hutch hotels of London.
