Christo Rei of Dili

Walking from the city centre to Christo Rei of Dili took 2 hours one way. It was balmy weather and nice walking along the seaside. On the way to the statue, the tide was high, but it was gradually going out when I walked back the city centre. The landscape from the summit was stunningly beautiful and I had a nice day off. 

I've heard that the Christo Rei of Dili is the second largest (I'm not sure if it's right.) in the world and it was erected by the Indonesian government as one of the gifts.
