The Tait Tower
Back in Glasgow today for a day of meeting people and organising stuff but we did have a chance to go for a wander round Bellahouston Park, the scene of the 1938 Empire Exhibition..
The Exhibition was a showcase for all the products and people of the British Empire, it included halls from all round the world all designed in the Art Deco style.
I remember my mum telling me that they went to see two of the most exotic exhibits the Giraffe Neck Woman and the perfect Highland Village.
This is the only part left - the base section of the Tait Tower.
