Lunch box from approx. 1942'ish

It is a miracle that this old box is still intact and that it ended up in Oz. Today we all have bright plastic boxes and most tempting they are as well.
We also had very little to look forward to when opening as rationing was on. Today kids seem to have such variety in food and drinks.
