Firstly thank you all so much for your congratulations and best wishes on our wedding anniversary yesterday, you are all very kind!

We are celebrating again tonight, a post-exam chinese as Lucy had her last paper this morning - Geography - and has texted to say it went well! She now has 11 weeks before starting 6th form. There are lots of things she plans to do and has been offered some extra hours at the eye care centre where she has a Saturday job so I'm sure she will have plenty to fill her time.

The weather's not quite sure what to do today...both sunshine and torrential rain look possible so we'll see. Went for a quick walk along the River Tame this morning and blipped this male damselfly......the female can be seen here This is straight out of the camera..no cropping at all!
