The whole of the almost full moon rose over the Tattoo stands as The Waterboys performed an absolutely stunning concert in The Ross Bandstand below the castle this evening.
The setting, the standard of composition, musicianship and performance all combined to make this one of the most memorable outdoor concerts we have ever been to.
The interface with the finale of the Tattoo with its fireworks and the appearance of the moon above the stands as the Waterboys sung off with that eponymous hit was sheer brilliance!
I did wonder if the 16000 punters in the Castle above were equally impressed by the "boom boom noise" emanating from the depths of the former Noor Loch!
