White Horse Revisited
After such an amazing day yesterday with AH14, Mr E and I decided to make the most of the blue skies and revisit the White Horse and the Waylands Smithy. I never tire of the place, as the atmosphere is wonderful. Yesterday I'd not taken my wide angle lens with me, so today I rectified this and made good use of it. This is the view looking towards Folly Hill, Faringdon, The Malverns and in the foreground is The Manger, formed during the last Ice Age.
I also used my zoom and captured a hare fleeing from a combine harvester, a female deer with two youngsters in tow and a red kite, which I've added as an extra. It was too good to miss against the deep blue sky.
I hope that you all enjoy your bank holiday weekend. I have to pick up my granddaughter from a service station near Birmingham by 8am Saturday morning, so I'll be up very early.
