Brown Trout

A sunny but breezy day; with a heavy down pour this morning.  I went for a walk along the old railway line this evening; it forms part of the Shipwright Way which runs from Alice Holt Forest to Portsmouth.  Along its path there are scupltures depicting locally significant features.  This one is an ode to the brown trout which swim in my local stream.  It sits in a clearing in the woods just off the railway line and is a place where people can sit and look out to the surrounding countryside.  I thought it looked especially lovely in the low evening sunshine surrounded by cow parsley.
