Canal Pedals!

After discovering the Bike & Go Scheme in Crosby earlier in the summer, Mum and I decided to give it a go along the Leeds-Liverpool canal. We were now prepared for the weight of the bikes (3.5 stone!) and the less than comfortable seats, but we love them all the same :-P 

Today we cycled 22 miles from Shipley, through Saltaire, passing the Five Rise Locks and ending at Silsden, before making our return journey. We were very lucky managing to shelter from one very heavy downpour and otherwise enjoying the sunshine!
