Round of applause, please...
For the lovely European Mantis, found today at the start of our walk. First Mantis I've seen in a couple of years and he/she was relatively cooperative in posting for the Nature Paparazzi. Finally, however, enough was enough and he/she flew off.
A beautiful day - temperatures in the high 70's and very low humidity and soft poofy clouds drifting across the blue sky. Bliss to be outside enjoying it with a group of like-minded people this morning. I have posted five other photos on Flickr, starting here with a lakescape
Monarch Mom Update: Cats 1 and 2 are growing, and #3 is has been sitting on a piece of paper towel all day so I think he is getting ready to molt. At least I hope that is what is happening!. Nerve wracking business, raising monarch cats!
Hubs is home early from work and the weekend has officially started. Hope yours is filled with new adventures, laughter, love and good food!
TTFN,
Debbi
