Stokesay Castle.

Today we popped in to see my Aunt in Church Stretton and she was feeling well enough to go out for a while. We went around the town with her in her chair for a little walk. Then, as we made our way home we stopped to visit Stokesay Castle, a fortified manor house from the 13th century. This is the view from the tower of the gatehouse with the church in the background. It is an impressive place set in the most beautiful countryside.
