Village Life
We spent the afternoon in an Armenian village. Its so rural and basic and wonderful. The children had so much fun with the sheep and chickens. We sat in their garden enjoying the smell of a huge basil plant and surrounded by pomegranate and orange trees, loads of veg bushes, sunflowers and vines.
Whilst we sat on the floor drinking tea the grandpa got on with cutting his toenails right there in front of us. R got the giggles and I had to fight to keep a straight face!
Part of our visit involved visiting their sister who has been very badly injured in a car crash which killed her daughter-in-law who was pregnant- 3 days from her due date.
