Young Seagull

This young Seagull was injured by the stupidity of someone driving far too fast in a car park in Hampden Park nr Eastbourne.
His wing is badly broken.
An elderly couple witnessed it happen & were very distraught, so I helped by getting our Dog's cage out of the car to put the Seagull into it.
The Elderly Man bravely picked him up & put him into the cage, then I drove my daughter to Polegate to drop her at her friends, then I went to the local Vet's, who asked me if I could take him to the main surgery, so I did. 
I left him there in a very faint hope that they could fix him, but I very much doubt it :(
Not a great start to my Holiday, but I had to do something to help.
