National Archives

Another tick off the bucket list...Visit to the National Archives at Kew.
I hoped to smash down some brick walls I'd been banging my head against while researching my family tree.
Delighted to access my grandfather's service records from #WW1 and follow his terrible journey.

It was particularly exciting to go in to the original documents area and access information. You are allocated a study space and collect the original from these lockers (while holding your breath in anticipation ).
