Normal service is resumed

With the kids back at school, my regular morning walks with the dogs have returned to their usual schedule, which meant I was out trundling around the woods and towpath this morning in unexpectedly sunny weather.

I haven't been out that way properly with a camera for a few weeks, and it's amazing how quickly everything changes. There seemed to be loads of stuff to stop and shoot today. Not that any of the pictures turned out particularly well - I think I just have to accept that a career as a nature photographer probably isn't in my immediate future.

And now, somehow, it's almost the weekend. That happened fast.
