Kea
TeeJay told me when I left work that she was heading up to my place to check out the Kea. On the way up to feed the calves, I spotted her parked across the road at our neighbours, out taking lots of photo's of the Kea eating walnuts from the ground. As soon as I arrived, this cheeky bird jumped its way over towards us both, paraded around, and then headed back to its 5 other friends under the walnut tree.
About 10 minutes later, about another 10 Kea flew over and joined these 6. I left TeeJay happily photographing the birds while I went and fed my baby calves. Have a look at TeeJay's Kea - she has captured it with its wings open, showing its beautiful colours.
