Old Shoe, New Shoe

I hate days where we have a plan to do something outside and it falls through. I quelled my disappointment by buying more plants for the garden. Then we had a small but fun monthly potluck in the neighborhood. And then there was this emergency blip. I can't say how long I've been wearing these sneakers. 3 or 4 or 5 years. It was well past time for some new ones. I like how the miles show on the old one.
