Watering Noho ...

... Noho is the local shorthand for Northampton, Massachusetts, where we live (as most of you probably know). Having spent the previous ten days or so in very dry Santa Monica, California, and environs, we arrived late yesterday back home to find a Northampton almost as dry, at least on our recently landscaped flowers and small patch of lawn. 

So I turned on the sprinkler last night, and late this afternoon, before heading out for the monthly meeting of the superb PVPA photo club (Pioneer Valley Photographic Artists).  We spend most of our meetings presenting each others' images-- both digitally and as prints. Nearly two dozen of us did so tonight; at least as much as ever, I was struck by the amazing variety of approaches, styles and subject matter.
