Wednesday

Today saw a full day's effort to stay awake while working on a boring problem. Hey ho! In the evening my nephew Max took me to see some Chinese musicians. I feared some seriously high pitched notes but was entranced by their superb musicianship. They ended by playing Auld Lang Syne. "We'll take a cup of kindness yet..."

The night finished well with Max trying (and liking) a deep fried Mars bar. The unexamined life ain't worth living. Three cheers for Max!
