It continues to rain even though Carlotta has been downgraded from a hurricane to a tropical storm. It seems as if the rain will never let up. Today, there was never a chance to leave the apartment as the longest break was only about 20 minutes. I found our large umbrella and went searching for photos around the complex. I was fascinated by the way the rain bounces off any hard surface looking like mini-fireworks. This is especially apparent at a slower than usual shutter speed. Careful bracing and the wonders of modern image stabilization provided a usable image without a tripod.
