The mill and the canal.
Before the railways came along and revolutionised British industry, the canals had done the same thing years earlier. The Leeds and Liverpool Canal left its mark in history, all the way from Leeds to Liverpool, in the form of factories, the dark satanic mills of the industrial revolution. This is the canal as it is today at Bingley, and one of the few mill buildings still in use as a place of employment along its length.
Many thanks to all lovely blippers who dropped by and left comments, stars and hearts for yesterday’s upload.
