Time....

.....For a haircut.
In fact, it was well overdue. Poppy's hair is so long, she has to stand up to have it cut. She's been dreading this day but our hairdresser was very gentle and showed her exactly how much needed to come off (about a cm). The trauma of having her hair cut has meant my credit card took a bashing as I had to bribe her with a new outfit. Out came the Boden catalogue and a very cute pair of dungaree shorts and a stripy top were duly ordered.
Let's hope she never decides to go for 6 weekly trims. I'm not sure my bank account could take the strain.

More rain today but we did manage to get a little swim in this afternoon.
