Check up time!

Holidays over ..... back to normal activities like my annual check up at the opticians. I find that visit very stressful .... which is clearer 1 or 2, where are the coloured lines, are they straight and then there is the field of vision test, the photographs and the pressure test. By the time the poor optician is finished I'm like a washed out rag. I thought it was going to be good news but the left eye has deteriorated a bit - I'm still deciding whether or not to take out a mortgage and get new glasses .... the prisms I need for my double vision fairly bump up the cost. My current pair are still OK so no urgent action needs to be taken.
